NUNC Brand Thernanox, or TMX coverslips are made from a polymer (in the polyolefin family) that is highly resistant to most chemicals. Thermanox plastic is resistant to alcohols, aldehydes, hydrocarbons, dilute acids (<10%) and dilute alkalis (<2%).
